In an updated-report of "Iron Man 2", it is suggested that the "Iron Man" sequel may possibly come in IMAX and 3-D. According to Collider, during a mini press conference for "Iron Man" DVD on Thursday, September 11, director Jon Favreau confessed that the follow-up film may take similar techniques used to make "The Dark Knight", and he perhaps tops it with 3-D technology.

On the occasion, the filmmaker allegedly revealed that he is inspired to make "Iron Man 2" in IMAX after seeing the sequel of "Batman Begins", describing the IMAX footage of the blockbuster movie as "a game changer" as paraphrased by Collider. Meanwhile, on the 3-D part, he shared that though it depends on the cost, he would love to make it happen, especially for the armor suit. The entire interview can be listened at Collider.

Coming back for the second installment of the Marvel Comics' adaptation movie is director Jon Favreau and producers, Avi Arad and Kevin Feige. Set to be released on April 30, 2010, the Paramount Pictures movie expects the return of some of its original cast, Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard and Gwyneth Paltrow. Additionally, the script for the sequel will be provided by "Tropic Thunder" co-scribbler Justin Theroux.
