Universal Pictures' "The Wolfman" is most likely to have found its music composer. Sharing their latest discovery on the horror thriller remake project, AICN noted that the Joe Johnston-directed movie has picked up celebrated songwriter Danny Elfman to produce scores for "Wolfman".

Elfman is the musical genius behind the music of "Spider-Man" series, "Chicago", "Men in Black II", Ang Lee's "Hulk", "Wanted (2008)", "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" and many others. He has also scored Tim Burton's movies, such as 1989 "Batman" for which he earned an Academy Award, "Edward Scissorhands", "The Nightmare Before Christmas", "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", etc.

From the "Road to Perdition" writer David Self and the acclaimed "Se7en" scribe Andrew Kevin Walker comes a reboot of 1941 horror thriller classic about an American man who goes to his ancestral homeland to find the murderer of his brother but instead gets bitten by a werewolf and becomes one. Starring Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt, it will hit the big screen on April 3, 2009.
