Having been exposing that his feature film version of the famed 19th century detecive "Sherlock Holmes" will embody an action hero trait earlier, acclaimed filmmaker Guy Ritchie goes even further by exposing that Holmes will be seen as one complex character. Sharing his insight to USA Today, he explained, "His intellect was as much of a curse as it was a blessing. He was a deeply layered character."

Based on Lionel Wigram's upcoming comic book, "Sherlock Holmes" centers its story on the detective famed with his magnifying glass, calabash pipe and and a deerstalker cap. It is scheduled to start its production in October for 2010 release with Robert Downey Jr. attached to the titular character role.
