Carrie Underwood's love life drama is complicated, but she's kind enough to share her past love experience with Allure magazine. In an interview for its September issue, she talks about some of her ex-boyfriends, including Tony Romo, whom she said still rings her despite the fact that he's now dating singer-actress Jessica Simpson.

"I don't know. The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer," so she says when telling the magazine that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback still calls her sometimes. She does add though that "We were both small-town people doing very big things, and we relied on each other, dealing with fame."

Dating Romo for months, Carrie surprisingly admits that their relationship wasn't serious. Giving no further clue on that matter, she instead goes on talking about her recent split with actor Chace Crawford and her relationships from her days at Oklahoma's Northeastern State University which inspired her hit song "Before He Cheats."

Summing up her failed love relationships, Carrie says she finds it hard to find friends she can really trust and guys who like her for the right reasons. "You never really know why somebody wants to be around you, or if they do genuinely like you," she tells Allure. "I wish everyone had a label on their forehead so you could automatically tell their intentions. Sometimes you just wish that no one wanted anything from you."
