Having been together for merely two months, it is fast that they are reported to have engaged. Albert Hammond, Jr. of the garage rock band The Strokes is engaged to his model girlfriend Agyness Deyn, reports said.
A source close to the couple tells US Weekly the musician and catwalk beauty "just got engaged!" Still according to the same source, their engagement took place "within the past few days."
Neither Albert nor Agyness has commented on the engagement report. Representatives for both of them also declined to comment.
Despite the sketchy report, evidence has emerged on their not-yet-confirmed engagement as Agyness was photographed wearing a huge diamond ring on her engagement finger during a low-key outing with Albert in New York this week.
Agyness, who's an English model, has been hailed as "the fashion industry's next great supermodel" and an "ambassador of British youth culture." She and Albert made their first public debut as a couple appearing hand-in-hand to the Songwriters Hall of Fame awards gala in N.Y.C. on June 20. They have since then often been spotted together at a number of occasions.
