Apparently, fans do not have to wait until 'The Dark Knight' starting its theatrical screening to see 'Watchmen' teaser since the compilation of clips has just been unearthed.

In the eve of "The Dark Knight" theatrical release, an impressive first teaser trailer of "Watchmen" has been making its way for fans' and movie lovers' viewing. Coming out even before its scheduled debut with the latest Batman movie, the video footage helps viewers to get a closer look into each major character.
Though it doesn't exactly give out the background story to the movie, the compilation of clips really gives out a real look into all the major characters from Rorschach to Silk Spectre and Dr. Manhattan. The trailer opens with Dr. Jon Osterman shown stuck in a room filled with lightning bolts. Electrified, Osterman soon is displayed transforming to be a blue figure known as Dr. Manhattan. Lack in conversation, the compilation of clips let out sequences of memorable moments from the comic book.
Adapted from the comic book written by Alan Moore, "Watchmen"is said to be following the investigation done by a half-insane hero Rorschach. Uncovering a plot to murder super-heroes, the former vigilantes reunites with his former teammates to save their lives as well as the world.
From the director of "300" Zack Snyder, the Warner Bros. Pictures' flick stars Jackie Earle Haley, Matthew Goode, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Carla Gugino and many others. It will be available in theaters on March 6, 2009.
