Reaping success in both movie and music industries, Beyonce Knowles has set her sight on small screen. The singer-actress is prepping to add more resume into her acting career as she, according to reports, is in talks with producers of "Desperate Housewives" in a bid to land a starring role in the hit ABC show.

Greater than that, her father Matthew Knowles who as well serves as her manager reportedly has been looking forward to make his daughter a more prominent role on the show. A source in the Knowles camp tells MediaTakeOut, "They've already agreed to give Beyonce a cameo appearance. But (we're) hoping that (she) could be written in for a recurring role, or possibly even a permanent one."

Has yet to officially confirm her alleged marriage to longtime boyfriend Jay-Z, Beyonce has been dealing with some weighty issues as she's been speculated to be pregnant. She, however, issues no single word on the long persistent rumor.

Prior to the "Desperate Housewives" report, Beyonce was said to have been tapped to topline an Indian film entitled "Kambakth Ishq." To make this far more interesting, it's claimed that she has landed one of the leading roles in the film and is expected to deliver her lines in Hindi language. "Beyonce's going to have to start learning Hindi fast because filming starts this summer...and there will be at least a month of filming in India," a source told MediaTakeOut.

Beyonce herself remained tight lipped on the report, whereas her people have yet to issue any denial or confirmation.
