Instead of touring with the rap-group, the "Lollipop" crooner opted to collaborate with the female singer instead.

With the release date for his new album "Tha Carter III" coming closer (June 10), Lil Wayne already prepared a tour to promote it. The rapper has already been thinking of artists he will take to join him on tour and Keyshia Cole is on top of the list.

Wayne told MTV about his plan to collaborate with Keyshia on stage saying, "I think I might go out with Keyshia Cole. You're bringing two different types of people in there." Adding his reason to pick Keyshia, he explained, "You got people coming to soothe their souls with Keyshia, and you got people who wanna throw their hands up with me. It's like listening to the radio. I think a concert should be like listening to the radio. When you listen to the radio, and your top-five or top-eight songs come on, it's hip-hop, it's R&B ... I think you gonna get that from me and Keyshia and whatever in between that."

Meanwhile, in other interview, Keyshia has also stated that she would love to work with Wayne on tour. Confirming her interest to go on tour with Wayne, the female singer said, "I'mma kidnap him and take him on tour with me. I think it's a little harder to get him on the stage than it is to get me. We gotta make sure we get together on that."

Before setting his mind on Keyshia, Wayne actually has planned to tour with G-Unit and he even already spoken with 50 Cent about it. Apparently, things didn't work out so the rapper decided to skip G-Unit and opted for the R 'n' B chick. "Um, that one, I don't think is gonna work no more," said Wayne about the tour plan with G-Unit. "It was something that ain't went right."
