Geri confirms the news to the press claiming that she is finished as a singer. "I feel like I've hung up my hot pants now. I'll always try and be honest about myself. I've finished as a solo artist. Right now I just feel really comfortable writing books," Geri said.

Geri, who recently has just finished doing a reunion tour with her girls band in February, also reveals that the tour made them close again. Commenting about it she said, "I feel we are just like a family. We clicked again straight away - it's just like a family traveling in a bubble."

As for her solo career, until now the singer has already released three studio albums. Her last album was "Passion" which has been released on June 6, 2005, in Europe, while in the U.S. it was released under the name "Geri" in 2007. Meanwhile, about his new career, Geri's new book titled "Ugenia Lavender" will be released on May 2.
