Done with the album work in The White Stripes, Jack White is putting a full gear on his other project, The Raconteurs aka The Saboteurs in Australia. The band announced that they have accumulated a number of songs ready to be molded into new CD.

A post on their official website read, "The 'teurs have a lot of new songs in the works people, the writing and structure of them has dissipated and reinvigorated many times over since we came home from our last shows."

The news that they put up as a conversation between Jack White and fellow member Brendan Benson continued, "The new songs are coming along strong. I'd hate to even begin to describe them," said Jack. "It would be like dancing about architecture," Brendan jotted in before Jack becoming more specific, " or singing about girls."

No other information like title, release date or any single have been revealed. In April, the band said that the album is aimed for 2008 and that they are currently recording in Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.

Their debut effort 'Broken Boy Soldiers' reached #7 in U.S. Billboard Hot 20 chart and was nominated for two Grammys, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal (for first single 'Steady as She Goes').
