Already undergone a rather hectic schedule this year, Australian actress Melissa George appears to still have plenty of energy in her to take on one more acting stint for her future film credits.

According to Moviehole.net, the former roller skating athlete is preparing to board a new thriller entitled "Captive", which is filming in Canada this month under the direction of Amanda Gusack who also penned the script.

Here the beauty is said to portray a happily married mother who finds herself being taken hostage in a remote waterfront warehouse after waking up from an awful car accident, a situation that later leads her to shocking revelations that will turn "her formerly safe and orderly existence upside down."

George, widely known for her performance as Lauren Reed in ABC's hit series "Alias", had appeared in a handful of either big or small screen productions before finally getting her first film starring role in 2005's "The Amityville Horror." She next can be seen playing Stella Olemaun in David Slade-directed "30 Days of Night", set to hit theaters on October 19 this year.
