In the remote Alaskan town of Barrow, the sun sets for a final time, plunging the isolated community into a month of perpetual darkness. As the last residents prepare to hunker down, Sheriff Eben Oleson (Josh Hartnett) and his estranged wife, Stella (Melissa George), sense a growing, unnatural threat. Their fears are horrifyingly realized when a band of ruthless vampires, led by the chilling Marlow (Danny Huston), descends upon the town. Cut off from the outside world and with no sunrise in sight, the dwindling survivors must use every ounce of their ingenuity and courage to endure the relentless siege. Directed by David Slade and produced by horror maestro Sam Raimi, this intense thriller masterfully crafts an atmosphere of claustrophobic dread and desperate survival, pushing a community to its absolute limits against an ancient and merciless evil.
