A West End musical production has utilized the works of veteran rock band Blondie. Stage act "Desperately Seeking Susan" that is adapted from Madonna's 1985 movie will use both Blondie's classics and new materials.

Among the band's songs that are used is their #1 hit "Heart of Glass". Others will be "Atomic,'' ''One Way or Another,'' ''Dreaming'', ''The Tide Is High" as well as a new composition from frontwoman Debbie Harry titled "Moment of Truth".

Debbie revealed her excitement in working in this project. She said, "The story just works with the lyrics. I thought it was a good idea, really smart. I would love it to come to Broadway. It's a live show so it's going to be different from the film, probably more light-hearted."

24 year-old actress Emma Williams will be in the shoes of Madonna's role as Susan. Kelly price meanwhile, will play Roberta Glass who has amnesia and by chance gets tangled in free-spirited Susan. The show will open October 12 at London's Novello Theatre.
