Well, this no doubt will be real great news for the game lovers out there.

Legendary Pictures has put on its official website a list of titles in development which surprisingly includes "Diablo", a project that is likely to be a big screen adaptation of Blizzard Entertainment's popular videogame of the same name.

A dark fantasy-themed hack and slash action-adventure game, the original is set in the fictional Kingdom of Khanduras and centers on a lone hero who has to battle to rid the town of Tristram of the titular Lord of Terror and his demon minions. As a result of its vast popularity, an expansion pack entitled "Diablo: Hellfire" was then released in 1997 followed by true sequel "Diablo II" in 2000.

Apart from "Diablo", Legendary is learned to also in progress to develop "Warcraft", a movie version of another Blizzard's best-selling game. Other titles mentioned in the list are "Clash of the Titans", "Kung Fu", and "Paradise Lost", among others.
