Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" ended the two-week reign of Akon's "I Wanna Love You" on the Hot 100 singles chart Thursday Dec 7th.

It's over for Akon. The Grammy Award nominated Hip-Hop and R&B singer no longer rules the US singles chart as Beyonce Knowles' "Irreplaceable" takes away the top spot from him in the week ended Thursday Dec 7th.
The success of the song to reign the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 marks Beyonce's fourth solo No. 1, while also makes her the second artist to have two No. 1 hits in 2006, placing him just behind Justin Timberlake who is the 1st with "SexyBack" and "My Love." Beyonce's other single that makes the top spot on the chart is "Check On It" which ruled for five weeks in February-March.
Back to the Hot 100, the 2nd best for this week is Akon's "I Wanna Love You" featuring Snoop Dogg, while his other song "Smack That" featuring Eminem remains at the 3rd spot. Stacy Ferguson's "Fergalicious" bounces six places to No. 4, ahead of Justin's "My Love" featuring T.I. at No. 5.
The chart's next best bows are Gwen Stefani's "Wind It Up" at No. 6, The Fray's "How To Save a Life" at 7th, Hinder's "Lips of an Angel" at No. 8, Bow Wow's "Shortie Like Mine" featuring Chris Brown and Johnta Austin at No. 9, and Jim Jones' "We Fly High" entering the chart at No. 10.
