Hurricane Wilma forces ZZ Top to call off two weekend concerts in Florida

AceShowbiz -

Mother Nature maybe is mad. In succession to Hurricane Katrina and Stan, now occurs Hurricane Wilma that destroys almost everything from housing, people, to entertainment.

Days ago MTV cancelled its Latin America Music Video Awards ceremony, which slated to be held Thursday night in a seaside park south of Cancun. Just now, rock band ZZ Top has canceled two weekend concerts in Florida that include Friday's show at Centennial Park in Fort Myers and their appearance at Saturday's Biketoberfest at the new Destination Daytona complex in nearby Ormond Beach.

More on the Hurricane effect is that Trisha Yearwood's Friday show at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach was also cancelled. Though, Neil Diamond's Friday show at BankAtlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale will go ahead as planned so does with that of Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age.
