A quiet night of babysitting transforms into a waking nightmare in this chilling horror thriller. High school student Jill Johnson, played by Camilla Belle, expects an easy evening watching two sleeping children in a secluded, modern mansion while their wealthy parents enjoy a night out. The tranquility shatters when an anonymous phone call arrives, with a calm, menacing voice asking a simple, haunting question: "Have you checked the children?" Dismissing it as a prank at first, Jill's anxiety spirals as the calls persist, growing more sinister and personal. With the sprawling house feeling more like a gilded cage and the children asleep upstairs, Jill must rely on her wits and the help of her boyfriend Bobby (Brian Geraghty) and friend Tiffany (Katie Cassidy) as she tries to uncover the identity of the stalker on the line. Directed by Simon West, the film masterfully builds an atmosphere of suffocating dread, proving that the most terrifying threats are often the ones already inside the house, waiting in the silence between rings.
