Synopsis

The story revolves around Joel (Alessandro Nivola), a tormented loner given to moments of anger. He tries to foster a new relationship with warm-hearted Janeece (Julianne Nicholson), but his life is thrown out of balance when his ex-wife vanishes and he finds himself responsible for his son, 10-year-old Will (Eli Haley), an equally vulnerable soul who needs care Joel is barely able to provide. The two must find a way to deal with their situation.
