Kick Ons
In just thirteen minutes, this taut Australian drama captures the raw, unspoken tension of a group of young men clingin...
In the cutthroat world of business, a fed-up salesman named Dan Trunkman, played by Vince Vaughn, makes a drastic move by quitting his soul-crushing job to start his own company. His fledgling venture attracts two unlikely partners: the recently fired, mild-mannered Timothy McWinters, portrayed by Tom Wilkinson, and the eager but naive young recruit Mike Pancake, brought to life by Dave Franco. Just as they land a deal that could make or break their new enterprise, they discover their former boss, the slick and ruthless Chuck Portnoy (James Marsden), is trying to steal the client out from under them. Determined to prove themselves, the hilariously mismatched trio embarks on a chaotic, last-minute business trip to Europe to close the deal themselves. Their journey becomes a whirlwind of misadventures, from awkward encounters with a persistent businessman (Nick Frost) to navigating the unexpected complications brought on by a savvy corporate consultant (Sienna Miller). This raucous R-rated comedy from director Ken Scott follows three underdogs as they discover that sealing the deal might require them to confront their own personal unfinished business first.
