In this festive adventure from director Steve Purcell, the beloved toys from the Toy Story universe find themselves in a post-Christmas battle for survival. When Tom Hanks's Woody, Tim Allen's Buzz Lightyear, and their friends are left at a playdate at a new friend's house, they discover a hidden world of aggressive, dinosaur-obsessed action figures who have never experienced the joy of being played with. Led by the reptilian warrior Cleric (voiced by Kevin McKidd), these Battle Saurs have created a rigid society based on constant combat, viewing the classic toys as intruders. Kristen Schaal's Trixie the Triceratops, eager to prove herself as a real dinosaur, must navigate this strange new kingdom while Woody and Buzz work to teach these warriors the true meaning of playtime. The film balances its signature Pixar humor with heartfelt themes about imagination and inclusion, as the toys discover that even the most formidable opponents can become friends when they learn to play together. With a runtime of just 22 minutes, this animated short delivers a compact but emotionally resonant story featuring the vocal talents of Wallace Shawn, Timothy Dalton, Don Rickles, and Joan Cusack.
