The beloved toys of Bonnie’s room face their most existential challenge yet in this animated adventure directed by Andrew Stanton. When a new, ultra-advanced smart toy named Axiom (voiced by Greta Lee) arrives, promising a perfect, data-driven playtime, Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), and the gang find themselves questioning their very purpose. Axiom’s sophisticated algorithms and glowing promises of endless fun quickly divide the toy community, with some eager to upgrade to a more efficient system while others, led by a nostalgic Woody, cling to the messy, unpredictable joys of imaginative play. As tensions rise and a crisis threatens to erase the core of what it means to be a toy, Woody and Buzz must rally their friends, including the ever-loyal Jessie (Joan Cusack) and the nervous Forky (Tony Hale), to prove that a toy’s true value isn’t measured in data points or efficiency, but in the love and memories shared with a child.
