ELECTRIC LANTERN
In a world where memories can be stored and replayed like old film reels, a mysterious drifter discovers a forgotten ar...
Washed ashore on a remote, seemingly deserted tropical island, Kiersey Clemons's Jenn must quickly master the art of survival. With only the contents of a scattered life raft and her own formidable will, she scavenges for food, secures shelter, and battles the creeping despair of total isolation. Her ordeal, however, takes a terrifying turn with the setting of the sun, when a malevolent creature emerges from the deep to stalk the beach. Director JD Dillard crafts a tense and minimalist horror experience where the vast, beautiful landscape becomes a claustrophobic prison. Jenn's fragile routine is shattered when other survivors, including Emory Cohen and Hanna Mangan Lawrence, appear, forcing her to confront not only the nocturnal predator but also the profound challenge of making herself believed. This gripping fight for survival evolves into a harrowing battle of wits and courage against a primal terror that refuses to let its prey escape.
