When a free-spirited man named Henry Lefay unexpectedly dies in a paragliding accident, his family is thrown into chaos as they gather for his funeral. The situation quickly escalates when his devoted daughter, played by Elisha Cuthbert, discovers that her father was not just a charming adventurer, but a man who left behind a tangled web of six ex-wives, each with their own unique personality and unresolved feelings. As these women, portrayed by a stellar ensemble including Andie MacDowell, Jenna Elfman, and Paz Vega, converge on the small town for the memorial, they must confront their shared history and the man who shaped their lives in very different ways. This comedic drama, directed by Howard Michael Gould and starring Tim Allen as the charismatic Henry, explores the messy, humorous, and heartfelt complexities of love, loss, and the enduring bonds that survive even the most unconventional of marriages. With a tone that balances laugh-out-loud moments with genuine emotion, the film delves into how one man's larger-than-life spirit continues to impact those he left behind, forcing his family and former spouses to finally understand the man they all loved, in their own ways.
