In the chilling horror film directed by Stephen Parkhurst, a desperate young woman named Tess, played by Lauren Pisano, agrees to participate in a risky experimental procedure that promises to restore her sight after years of blindness. The operation is a success, but Tess quickly discovers that her new vision comes with a terrifying and unwanted side effect: she can now see malevolent entities that have always been lurking just beyond human perception. As these shadowy figures begin to torment her and those around her, including her concerned boyfriend portrayed by Daniel Burns, Tess realizes that her gift of sight has made her a target. With the help of a skeptical doctor played by Debra Lord Cooke and a local priest, she must unravel the dark history of the clinic where she was treated. The film masterfully builds a suffocating atmosphere of dread, blending psychological horror with supernatural terror as Tess fights to survive against forces that are both unseen and unimaginable. Featuring a strong ensemble cast including Kellie Spill, Bart Shattuck, and Angie Moon Conte, this taut 88-minute thriller keeps audiences on edge until the very last frame.
