In a bizarre and not-too-distant future, humanity has become the galaxy's most exotic and unpredictable game. Directed by and starring the unpredictable Sharlto Copley, Sapien Safari follows a group of wealthy alien tourists on a guided expedition to a preserved Earth, where they hunt the planet's most dangerous and cunning indigenous species: humans. Copley plays their eccentric and morally conflicted guide, who begins to question the ethics of his lucrative career as the "safari" descends into chaotic and hilarious madness. Blending sharp sci-fi satire with outrageous comedy, the film explores themes of exploitation and survival through a lens of interstellar tourism gone terribly wrong.
