Working the night shift at a recently shuttered hospital, a troubled young woman named Roslyn ( Sara Foster ) finds herself drawn into a chilling mystery when she begins transcribing dictations from a deceased psychiatrist. The recordings detail a series of unsolved murders linked to the hospital’s infamous ninth floor, a place where unspeakable experiments once took place. As Roslyn delves deeper into the cryptic tapes, she is haunted by disturbing visions and a growing sense that the killer may still be at large. Her fragile mental state is further tested by her supportive but enigmatic husband, Cole ( Gabriel Mann ), and the unsettling presence of a hospital security guard ( Michael Biehn ) who seems to know more than he lets on. Directed by Andrew Shortell, this psychological horror thriller blurs the line between reality and delusion, crafting a tense, atmospheric nightmare. With a stellar cast that includes Cary Elwes and Colleen Camp, the film explores themes of memory, trauma, and the darkness that lurks within the human mind. As Roslyn races to uncover the truth, she must confront the terrifying possibility that the monster she is hunting might be closer than she ever imagined.
