Synopsis

When major-league rookie pitcher Hopper Gibson (Johnny Simmons) chokes on the mound, he's sidelined to the minor leagues and prescribed sessions with an unorthodox sports psychologist (Paul Giamatti). In the process, long-dormant conflicts with his overbearing father (Ethan Hawke) are brought to light.
