In the action-comedy Judwaa 2, directed by David Dhawan, Varun Dhawan takes on a dual role as long-lost identical twins separated at birth. One twin, Raja, grows up as a street-smart brawler in Mumbai, while the other, Prem, is raised as a sophisticated gentleman in London. Their lives collide in a whirlwind of mistaken identity and chaotic comedy when they cross paths as adults. The film's romantic entanglements see Raja's brash charm winning over a woman played by Jacqueline Fernandez, while Prem finds a connection with a character portrayed by Taapsee Pannu. With a supporting cast including Anupam Kher, Upasana Singh, Rajpal Yadav, and Pavan Malhotra, the twins must ultimately unite to confront a common enemy, blending slapstick humor with familial bonds. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala from a script by Yunus Sejawal, this 145-minute romp is a spiritual successor to the 1997 original, delivering the trademark masala entertainment expected from the franchise.
