A group of five college friends find themselves stranded in a remote Nebraska cornfield after a terrifying attack by a flock of crows shatters their road trip. Seeking shelter from the relentless birds and the oppressive heat, they stumble upon an abandoned farmhouse that seems like a lifeline. However, the isolated home holds a dark secret, and its fields harbor a malevolent, supernatural presence. Led by the increasingly unstable Johnny (played by Wes Chatham), the group, including the pragmatic Scott (C.J. Thomason) and the skeptical Chris (Devon Graye), soon realizes they are not alone. The scarecrows that dot the surrounding farmland begin to move with a sinister purpose, picking off the friends one by one. As paranoia and dread take hold, the survivors must uncover the grim history of the land before they are transformed into the field’s newest guardians. Directed by Brett Simmons, this R-rated horror film delivers a tense and atmospheric nightmare, blending classic scarecrow mythology with a relentless sense of isolation and dread.
