In this playful sci-fi comedy from director Paul Hoen, two tech-savvy best friends, Gabby ( China Anne McClain) and Mae ( Kelli Berglund), are tired of being overlooked by the popular crowd at school. When their attempts to catch the attention of the cutest guys backfire, they decide to take matters into their own hands. Using Mae's advanced robotics skills, they create the perfect boyfriend: a sophisticated android named Albert ( Marshall Williams), programmed to be charming, athletic, and utterly devoted. Their plan seems flawless until a government agent ( Roger Bart) discovers their creation and wants to use him for a secret project. Meanwhile, their digital masterpiece begins to develop a mind of his own, learning what it truly means to be human. As Gabby and Mae juggle their high-tech secret with the pressures of high school, they must protect their creation from falling into the wrong hands while discovering that real relationships can't be programmed. This lighthearted adventure blends coming-of-age humor with futuristic thrills, featuring a talented young cast that includes Noah Centineo and Ashley Argota.
