Directed by J.T. Petty, this irreverent horror-comedy follows a most unorthodox team of exorcists known as the Hellbenders, a secretive sect within the Catholic Church that has abandoned traditional prayer in favor of a far more profane approach to battling evil. Led by the gruff and morally flexible Father Cusack, played by Clancy Brown, this crew of degenerate priests, including the impulsive Angus ( Clifton Collins Jr. ) and the hedonistic Butters ( Dan Fogler ), lives a life of sin and debauchery, believing their own wickedness is the key to trapping demons. Their mission takes a dangerous turn when a young woman ( Robyn Rikoon ) arrives with a terrifying secret, forcing the team to confront a supernatural threat that may be beyond their crude methods.
