Makeshift Art Bar: Discipline
In this brief but potent documentary, director Colin Peppard turns his lens on the raw, unfiltered world of underground...
When a blurry, late-night video of a strange creature goes viral, two amateur filmmakers see their chance for internet fame in the riotous comedy Goblin Sighting. Directed by and starring Glenn Bauer, the film follows Glenn and his enthusiastic partner, played by Scout Bauer, as they embark on a deeply unserious quest to capture definitive proof of the mythical beast. Their mission quickly spirals into chaos, complicated by the unexpected involvement of their friend Yutaro Oka and the mysterious figure known only as JUAN. What begins as a simple hunt for a monster becomes a hilarious test of friendship and sanity, as every attempt to document the goblin is thwarted by their own incompetence and increasingly absurd circumstances. Packed with low-budget charm and witty camaraderie, this short film delivers a clever satire of modern paranormal chasing, proving that the real monsters might just be the ones holding the camera.
