Four moms with very different approaches to parenting find themselves thrown together for what should be a simple night out in this raucous comedy. Katie Aselton plays a free-spirited mother of two who is feeling the strain of domestic life, while Toni Collette portrays a tightly-wound perfectionist desperate to maintain control. The group, which also includes Bridget Everett and Molly Shannon, initially bonds over their shared exhaustion and the chaos of raising kids, but their casual dinner quickly spirals into an unexpectedly wild adventure. As the night progresses, these women shed their suburban personas, confronting their insecurities and rediscovering the parts of themselves they left behind. Directed by Alethea Jones and written by Julie Rudd, this R-rated comedy balances sharp, irreverent humor with genuine heart, exploring the pressures of modern motherhood and the power of female friendship. With a supporting cast including Adam Scott, Adam Levine, and Rob Huebel, the film captures the messy, hilarious, and surprisingly touching moments that happen when moms finally get a night off.
