A young boy's desperate search for a cure becomes a terrifying fight for survival in this chilling horror tale. Charlie Shotwell stars as Eli, a boy suffering from a rare autoimmune disease that forces him to live in a sterile, isolated bubble, unable to ever go outside. His hopeful parents, played by Kelly Reilly and Max Martini, bring him to a secluded clinic run by the enigmatic Dr. Horn, portrayed by Lili Taylor, who promises an experimental treatment that could finally grant him a normal life. However, as the intense procedures begin, Eli starts to experience disturbing supernatural phenomena within the sanitized walls of the old house. With the help of a friendly girl named Haley, played by Sadie Sink, he begins to question the true nature of his illness and the sinister motives of those sworn to help him. Directed by Ciaran Foy, the film masterfully builds an atmosphere of creeping dread and paranoia, trapping the audience alongside Eli as he uncovers dark secrets that suggest the cure may be far more horrifying than the disease itself.
