Based on the novel 'In This Way I Was Saved' by Brian DeLeeuw, "Daniel Isn't Real" follows troubled college freshman Luke (Miles Robbins) who suffers a violent family trauma and resurrects his childhood imaginary friend Daniel (Patrick Schwarzenegger) to help him cope.
