Woody Harrelson stars as Marcus, a stubborn and hot-headed minor-league basketball coach whose life takes an unexpected turn after a career-ending mistake lands him in court-ordered community service. His sentence? Coaching a basketball team of players with intellectual disabilities, a task he approaches with dismissive reluctance. Under the direction of Bobby Farrelly, this heartfelt comedy-drama finds Marcus initially clashing with his determined new team, including the spirited Johnny, played by Kevin Iannucci, and the fiercely independent Cosentino, portrayed by Madison Tevlin. As Marcus is forced to confront his own preconceptions, he begins to form genuine bonds with the athletes, discovering their unique talents, unwavering spirit, and surprising insights into the game—and life itself. What starts as a begrudging obligation slowly transforms into a journey of unexpected growth, challenging Marcus to become not just a better coach, but a better person, all while leading this unlikely group toward their shot at a championship.
