Synopsis

"Broken Lines" is a powerful and bittersweet romantic drama about a young man who, after the sudden death of his father, is forced to come to terms with his past and his own fallibility. Plunging into a love affair with a waitress who is herself trapped in an unhappy guilt-ridden relationship, he is forced to examine his own capacity for guilt and betrayal, his complex relationships with his mother and father, and his forthcoming marriage.
