In the gritty underbelly of the 1970s New York City waterfront, two brothers find their bond tested by blood, money, and brutal violence in this gripping crime drama. Zach McGowan stars as Charlie, a volatile and ambitious fisherman whose life is a constant struggle, while Nick Loeb portrays his more cautious brother, Bruce. When a lucrative but dangerous opportunity in the world of illegal bare-knuckle fighting presents itself, Charlie sees a chance to change their fortunes, dragging his reluctant brother into a vicious cycle run by formidable figures like the menacing promoter Joe Pantoliano and the seasoned veteran Burt Young. Directed by Ken Kushner, the film paints a raw and atmospheric portrait of brotherhood and survival, where every punch thrown in the ring echoes the conflicts faced outside of it. As the stakes rise and loyalties fray, the brothers must navigate a treacherous path where the fight for a better life could cost them everything they have.
