In the politically charged aftermath of a presidential election, disillusioned campaign worker John Logue, played by Breckin Meyer, makes a drunken, public vow to move to Canada if his candidate loses. Stuck with his impulsive promise and a broken heart, he decides to follow through, placing a classified ad for a travel companion to share the drive north.
