Neon Jungle emerged as a vibrant force in the British pop scene in the early 2010s, a four-piece girl group known for their energetic sound and chart success with singles like "Braveheart". Formed in London in 2013, the group consisted of members Shereen Cutkelvin, Amira McCarthy, Jessica Plummer, and Asami Zdrenka. They were signed to RCA Records and quickly made an impact with their debut single "Trouble", which entered the UK Singles Chart at number 16 in late 2013, signaling the arrival of a promising new act.
Their breakthrough arrived in early 2014 with the release of "Braveheart". The anthemic single became their biggest hit, peaking at number four on the UK chart and earning a silver certification. This success was swiftly followed by their second top 10 hit, "Welcome to the Jungle", which served as the title track for their debut and only studio album. Jessica Plummer found significant success as an actress, notably winning a British Soap Award for her role in EastEnders and competing on Strictly Come Dancing. Shereen Cutkelvin also pursued acting and appeared on Love Island. Asami Zdrenka built a career as a model and influencer, while Amira McCarthy focused on music and songwriting.
