Jennifer Love Hewitt, born on February 21, 1979, in Waco, Texas, USA, is an American actress and singer. Jennifer, who is of Italian and German descent, got her first name from older brother Todd. Meanwhile, her middle name was taken after her mother's best friend's name at college.
Since little, Jennifer has practised her talent in both acting and singing, as at age 4 she was singing on the stage of a restaurant. Two years after her 'breakout' performance, little Jen was taking tap, jazz, and balet lessons which later made her toured the Soviet Union and Europe along with the Texas Show Team. As for her acting career, Jennifer started it by playing a child actress on Disney Channel's "Kids Incorporated" (1989-1991).
Jennifer later got her breakout role in the 1994 TV series "Party of Five," a story centered on Salinger's five brothers and sisters who grow up orphans after their parents were killed in a road accident. Since the series, Jennifer acting career started to rocketing. In 1997, she was set for the role of Helen in the horror film "I Know What You Did Last Summer," which later exchanged to Julie.
Meantime, as for her talent in music, Jennifer has released four albums, including her hit "BareNaked" (2002). Jennifer capability as both singer and songwriter has widely been admitted as she wrote two beautiful songs, "Love Will Show You Everything" and "Take My Heart Back," both of which she perfoms in the drama romance "If Only" (2004).
