Guy Kent is an American actor and producer from Los Angeles, California. He is known for his work in independent film, including Chris Peters' The Place Between opposite Samantha Sloyan, and for a run of award-winning genre shorts made with director Angad Aulakh.

Kent first drew attention with the American-Icelandic drama Autumn Lights, which he starred in and produced. He made the film alongside the producers of the Icelandic Academy Award submission Metalhead, David Gordon Green's Prince Avalanche and the Nordic Council Film Prize-winning Either Way. The film was a New York Film Critics Series Pick and opened theatrically in North America on October 21, 2016.

His collaboration with Aulakh has produced three festival-recognized shorts. The Atomic Dream is an Oscar-qualifying period sci-fi drama set in the aftermath of the JFK assassination, and it earned Kent Best Actor (Short) at the Amsterdam International Film Festival. Resurrektor is a grief-driven horror short that qualified for the Oscars and BAFTAs and won Best Horror at New York Shorts. Aurora is a black-and-white science-fiction short in which Kent stars as Commander Freddie Ballard. It had its world premiere at HollyShorts in August 2026 and went on to FilmQuest and the Malibu Film Festival.

For his short-form work, Kent has also been nominated for the Max von Sydow Award at the Stockholm Film & TV Festival, the Lion Award for Best Actor (Short) in Rotterdam, and Best Actor at Tokyo Shorts.

His other credits include Katherine LaVeaux's Hell for the Company and a recurring role on the Signal Award-winning podcast Ominous Thrill.

Behind the camera, Kent runs the production company Last Carnival with Aulakh and recently launched his own independent company, Studio GK.
