Created by Robin Antin, the mastermind behind the successful group the Pussycat Dolls, Girlicious gained fame through the reality television series Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, which aired on The CW. The group consisted of members Nichole Cordova, Tiffanie Anderson, Chrystina Sayers, and Natalie Mejia, and quickly captured the attention of pop music fans with their debut single "Like Me," which was released in the same year.

Originating from Los Angeles, California, Girlicious showcased their talents through a competitive format that allowed viewers to witness the formation of the group.
