Diddy-Dirty Money is a Hip-Hop group formed by P. Diddy for his fifth studio album "Last Train to Paris". He tapped Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper for the band in 2009 soon after his all-female group Danity Kane, where Richard served as a member, were disbanded.
"I want to do something refreshing, something unique, something forward for myself as an artist," Diddy said. "I want to tell a story [about] finding love, losing love and then trying to find love again, and I couldn't just tell males' point of view, I need to tell females' point of view."
Roughly two months later, Diddy exited from Warner Music Group/Atlantic Records and then signed a deal with Interscope Records. "Under the new partnership, all of Diddy's future releases will be distributed via Interscope Records, as will albums by any future artists to join the Bad Boy roster. All artists currently signed to Bad Boy Records will still continue to release projects through Warner Music Group," it was explained.
In December 2010, Dirty Money dropped "Last Train to Paris". They collaborated with a bunch of A-list artists including cSwizz Beatz%, Usher, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, T.I. and Drake. The album debuted at number seven on Billboard Hot 200 with 101,000 copies sold.
