This exposure provided a springboard to New York City, where she soon made her Broadway debut in 2011's Lin-Manuel Miranda-penned Bring It On: The Musical. Her big break arrived when she joined the original Broadway company of Lin-Manuel Miranda's cultural phenomenon, Hamilton, as part of the ensemble and an understudy for the Schuyler Sisters. Her performance reached new heights in 2018 when she earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Disco Queen Donna Summer in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical.
