Magic Mike XXL is a 2015 American comedy-drama film directed by Gregory Jacobs and written by Reid Carolin. The film is a sequel to the 2012 film Magic Mike and features an ensemble cast led by Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez, and Gabriel Iglesias. The film follows Mike Lane and his fellow strippers as they travel to Myrtle Beach for a male stripper convention. Magic Mike XXL was released in the United States on July 1, 2015, by Warner Bros.
