The daughter of notorious mob boss John Gotti is urging Los Angeles prosecutors to give embattled family friend Lindsay Lohan a 'second chance' as she tries to move past her legal troubles.

AceShowbiz - The "Mean Girls" star Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 120 days in jail on Friday after a judge ruled she had violated her probation by allegedly stealing a necklace from a California jewellery store.
Lohan, who pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanour, posted bail shortly after she was booked into Lynwood Correctional Facility and is set to appeal the probation ruling.
The actress is due to relaunch her Hollywood career with a new role in upcoming John Gotti biopic, "Gotti: Three Generations", and the gangster's daughter Victoria is hoping Lohan pulls through her problems.
In a column for America's Star magazine, she writes, "When I met up with Linds face-to-face at the ('Gotti: Three Generations') press conference, we spoke about a number of things, including how scared and anxiety-ridden she is about this necklace fiasco and the legal troubles that accompany it."
"All said, I believe in second chances, sometimes even a third - especially when it comes to a 24-year-old kid."
Lohan had initially been tipped to portray Victoria Gotti in the movie, but has since been cast as the mobster's daughter-in-law, Kim Gotti.
