Mariah Carey Debuts at No. 1 on Holiday Albums Chart

In addition, her album 'Merry Christmas II You' also takes the first place on Billboard R 'n' B Albums chart.

Christmas has come early for - her new holiday album has stormed to the top of America's Billboard R&B Albums and Holiday Albums charts. The singer released "" last week and the album is already a bestseller.

The compilation of festive tunes also scores a high entry on the Billboard Top 200 Albums countdown at four. Carey's holiday songs also dominate the Holiday Singles chart - "All I Want for Christmas Is You" and "Oh Santa!" currently sit at numbers one and two, respectively.

This is Carey's second holiday album. The first one "Merry Christmas" came out in 1994 and peaked at No. 3 on Hot 200 as well as reached the top spot on the Holiday chart.
