AceShowbiz - Eva Longoria is longing to start a family but "Desperate Housewives producers have banned her from falling pregnant in 2010. The actress insists she wants to have kids with her basketball star husband Tony Parker - but TV bosses have asked her to postpone baby plans, following her co-star Marcia Cross' pregnancy in 2006.
Longoria Parker tells Austria's Madonna magazine, "Tony and I are working on expanding our family. But the producer has forbidden me from getting pregnant this year. Seriously! Marcia's pregnancy came as a big surprise and posed a big problem for the script writers. Even so, I love being a real housewife. I cook, I clean up, I do Tony's washing."
But she admits her busy work schedule may also delay motherhood: "I work three to four days a week (in Los Angeles) and then fly to Texas to spend a long weekend with Tony. This means we can only have sex on the weekends."
