Some fans, however, come to the South African singer's defense for partying with the 'Drip Too Hard' rapper after she cited a health issue as the reason behind the tour cancellation.

AceShowbiz - Tyla has raised questions among her fans after she was spotted partying with Gunna. The singer/songwriter has hit the club with the YSL artist in Johannesburg, weeks after she called off her tour due to a health issue.

In videos circulating online on Thursday, May 2, the 22-year-old looked healthy and in good spirits while hitting what looks like a club with the hip-hop star. She also appeared to have a blast and be fit enough to jump to the beat of the music.

Tyla's outing has since left people confused as she recently cited her health issue as the reason behind the tour cancellation. "So She cancelled her tour because of 'health issues' but she can party with a world renowned rat? And I still ain't get my refund," one of the comments read.

Another criticized the singer, "She's corny tho." A third critic remarked, "She's everywhere but on tour," while a fourth one claimed, "this why she cancelled her tour."

Some other users, however, have jumped to Tyla's defense, with many pointing out that Tyla and Gunna recently collaborated on "Jump" off her self-titled debut studio album. "They got a song together chile," one of the fans pointed out.

Hitting back at the critics, another penned, "Damn they have a song together. They just can't hang out just because. simple minded ppl , especially the blogs." Another one argued, "I see two people enjoying the event y'all so messy they just drop a song not too long ago ofc they gone hang out."

Others speculated that Tyla and Gunna might be filming a music video for their collaboration. Supporting the speculation, reports said Tyla and Gunna were shooting a music video for their song "Jump" as cameras were seen following them that night.

They reportedly also went to popular lifestyle venue Konka in Soweto. While at Konka, the former inmate reportedly also treated the crowd to a performance of his most current hit song "Fukumean".

Tyla announced in March that she had to cancel her tour due to a "tragically worsened" injury. She informed her fans through social media at the time, "I am absolutely heartbroken to have to say this, but as of right now, I won't be able to proceed with the tour." She then revealed that the said health issue was a long-term injury on her back that was caused by a "freak twerking accident."
